Fw: checking out gpc source

Hello,

I would like to look into the gpc source code, first step is to compile the gpc+gcc.
Can you please tell me what is a recent fairly stable snapshot / release?
I ask this because on the website, the " source code of the current GNU Pascal release " points to the alpha snapshots, that has 20050331, but the binary/cygwin has  "gpc-20051116, based on gcc-3.4.4".

I am using Cygwin.
