I have your patch in the queue, but if you want resend it is ok too.

Is my own opinion that there is a general abuse of dinamic libraries, 
and a librarie like GRX, small and no so common, don't benefit at all to 
link like a dinamic librarie. But it doesn't hurt to have the option in 
the makefiles. So I have to try it.
