Compiling GPC for Linux (was without Subject)-:

Dear Peter,
thank you for help. 
The linux binary version of gpc was downloaded from:
ftp://agnes.dida.physik.uni-essen.de/gnu-pascal/beta/binary/

 upon compiling a.pas the following output is given:

 begin
   writeln ('This prints "aaa", does it ?');
 end.
