As far as gpc is concerned, there is no official port of the Delphi 
Classes unit - and, until gpc gets Delphi-style classes, such a port 
would not be possible. I have a "somewhat" and very partial gpc port of 
some of the stuff from the classes unit, to the extent that it is 
possible to do so using old BP-style objects. This includes a 
"somewhat" Tstringlist object - built on top of the gpc port of the 
FreeVision objects unit. If anyone is interested, I can make the 
sources available.

PS: you can interpret "somewhat" above as meaning that, although the 
objects are functional, they are not (and cannot under current gpc 
releases be) precise "plug in" replacements of the Delphi equivalents, 
and possibly contain bugs.
